Process where centering coupling takes place

Patented

Centering coupling is mounted by pick – up to the internal pipe surface set against chamfer. The pipe with mounted coupling is moving on a roller table overtaking a foregoer pipe. There is special rate setting for a roller table: a pipe moving from behind pushes a foregoer pipe. In this regard, the rate of abutting pipe is kept both for moving and axis rotation. The rollers set at the back side of centering coupling perform two functions: trapper and compensator of axial velocities occurred during pipe jointing. Pipe ends jointed in this way (endless pipe) moving through the unit which performs pipe coating and then breaching takes place, namely, pipe joint is hacked and with help of different rates of transport rollers moving the foregoer pipe becomes to move faster than the back pipe (pipe detachment). Later the coupling is dismounted and the process is repeated.
